The Carib beer Great Race 2009 proved to be another successful event for Carib beer and the Trinidad and Tobago Power Boats Association. Dubbed the Big Easy Weekend, Great Race festivities kicked off Thursday 27th August with the Carib Beerfest in Roxborough, and continued on Friday at the Esplanade with the Carib and Mackeson girls, the Carib party lounge and lots of giveaways. The Carib girls also graced the Great Race Welcome Party at the Shade on Friday night, as they crowd geared up for the big day on Saturday. After much anticipation, Mr. Solo once again won the Great Race title on Saturday, and celebrations kicked off on Store Bay beach with patrons enjoying the live entertainment and Carib beer late into the evening. Sunday was a perfect wrap up for the Big Easy weekend with the Great Race Car show at the Dwight Yorke Stadium. Well attended, patrons took in the show cars, Carib girls as well as the UltraMalt sampling. Carib, official beer of the Great Race 2009!
